Remember that one? "The president shall not be questioned," was something Stephen Miller said during Trump's first term where he served as a senior advisor. It was a viral moment. People were outraged. And it was a major sign of fascism to come.
Now? It's more like "The president is not just the law, but above the law, and not subject to the law." Trump is far more consumed with enriching himself financially and boosting his ego. He does NOTHING for domestic policies to help Americans in the 99%... only the 1%. Meanwhile, Stephen Miller is his right hand man, his Joseph Goebbels, Henrich Himmler, and Adolf Eichmann all rolled into one, enacting draconian an tyrannical policies that not only disenfranchises select demographics, but puts their very lives at risk. He is following the Nazi playbook outlined by Goebbels and Hitler, nearly to the letter. He speaks of imposing "democratic will," when it's nothing at all to do with democracy. It's fascism.
ICE detention facilities are modern-day concentration camps. George Takei, a Japanese-American, was interned as a small boy in such a camp. He has seen the photos of those massive ICE buildings and immediately saw exactly what they're designed to do. It doesn't stop with immigrants.
