Customer brought his toyota corolla into work today, and I see it's about to roll over to 300k miles. I actually left the car in neutral and rolled it into the shop and out when I was done so he himself could enjoy the moment it finally rolled. Also left him a note of congrats. :D

I like those old Toyotas. Might get one if my ranger ever dies. 378k miles on it

I have a 99 corolla with 410. As long as it's running I'm not complaining.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is that miles?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...on my car the odo sensor is in the diff, so neutral still counts...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm at 276K... Just last me a bit longer please

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

2006 Corolla only has 75k on it. Seeing this, now I think it will be with me for the rest of my life!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*click* 300'000 miles reached, your car is officially worth 0.00$ now.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Got a 94 'rolla with 258k. That looks like a 9th-gen dash, yeah?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was I the only one who thought this was a gif and waited for a bout 30 seconds for it to change?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's a Toyota, you have about 500k to go!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Corollas last forever.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually OP a lot of corollas stop recording after they hit that number. Source: I own one and husband is a Toyota mechanic.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So what I'm saying is, it has likely been that way for a while

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would have driven it around before coming in.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hate Toyota cars.... They just keep going and never let you fix them.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice. What year? Mine is a 1994 with mechanical odo

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, and 318k

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

now you just need another 18009 miles

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then flip it? v

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yep

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's not how that works

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yes! The spd. sens.(revolution counter) is on the output shaft of the trans. Could discnct the batt. to prevent it from recording

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

C/S that his corolla would not reach 300000 on his odo. insisted that his mileage was 301359, and that he was keeping track from the trip.
