Meet Scout, our new Border Collie! Our friend took him away from a neglectful home, and asked us if we wanted him, since we're a very dog friendly household. He was really dirty in this picture.

Taking the little guy home!!

The afterbath! A clean puppy is a happy puppy!!

Already making friends with Luke! They played until they both fell asleep last night.

I feel Sorry for the pup being in such dirty household :c

That dog's adorable! Just know that border collies need LOTS of exercise and attention. They are very smart/ high energy!

Border collies are the best. Mine is the snuggliest, most loving guy ever.

As someone who has taken care of miniature border collies, prepare for mischievous acts! They're super smart @OP

Looks like Australian Shepherd? Adorable.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's positively adorable! They're such sweet dogs, too. I'd spoil him so bad

I grew up with a Border Collie named Scout, RIP my first best friend. Love that dog to pieces, OP!

Did you eat it?

Adorable puppy! As for people commenting on the floors... don't sweat it. They are obviously better than the rest of us *rme*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're probably talking about the first picture, which was the picture my friend took at the shitty owners house and sent to me lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Shit the only thing my roommate brought me home was crabs

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Clean your floors buddy

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 23

Didn't have the chance to clean up yesterday, on account of getting a new dog. Finished up the cleaning this morning.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Your friend stole a dog?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, the neglectful owner agreed to give Scout away.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I wish my roommate randomly brought home puppies

9 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 2

We talked about it first, and decided that it would be okay, Luke needed a playmate anyway

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

I wish my mom stopped calling me her "roommate".

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

If you share bills and/or written on the lease, you's a roommate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Geez oh Pete! Some people on here, 1. Your house looks fine, it's lived in. And 2. Your dog's are super adorable!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Clean your house!!!!

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 26

Right! Floors nasty!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 13

First picture is neglectful owners house, not mine. The one of dogs together was after I took them out, they tracked dirt in.

First picture was taken at the neglectful owners house. I took the one of them together right after they tracked dirt in from outside.

And bottle caps

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I suspect someone has no idea what its like to actually have pets (dogs being the worse) who create mess.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I would love to randomly walk into your home and see it pristine and perfect all the time.... get over yourself :-)

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I was joking actually!!! Im hardly that superficial ????

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He probably still lives with his parents and assumes everything cleans itself.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Actually, no, but thanks for assuming too! lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

His front legs looked dirty. Checked after bath, just a permanently dirty pupper...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah, He's just Oreo ice cream colored :)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He is adorable!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Border collies rule. Keep him busy and alot of outside play.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I have one of my own, i have to take him on runs 4 times a day, or he will ruin my stuff. But so smart and lovable. Great work op.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Luke has kept him pretty busy already! They play almost non stop :)

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Max is half border collie half english setter. Not the most graceful, but smart af.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

He's so pretty!!!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Stop telling me to clean my house. The first picture was the neglectful owners house. My carpets were fucked when I got the house.

9 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 10

Those who care don't matter. And those that matter don't care.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Calm your titties, your floor is actually dirty. No matter what you are telling us, i really dont care.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I bet that bottle cap is from them too... And all the trash in your yard/ stickers stuck up floor. From them too

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 16

Again, that is the previous dog owners house. You might wanna read the comments a little better next time.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Not judging, just offering advice. Baking soda and vinegar or a decent shampoo will get out most stains.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Screw what people say.. happy dog happy life

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

He's a lot happier having 2 owners that take their pets to the vet and feed them 3 times a day then locked in a cage like he was before us

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I bet that bottle cap is from the dogs too. And all the trash in the yard. From them..

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 16

That first picture was taken by my friend when he was still at the neglectful people's house. That's not my trash or my yard. Can you read?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Dog here. Don't listen to the idiots. Thank you for giving that sweet pup a good home.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The vinyl floor is dirty because I just took the dogs outside and they tracked in dirt. Acting like you guys know my life lol

9 years ago | Likes 123 Dislikes 9

I belive you.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bro, it's okay. You have dogs, dogs get dirty sometimes, then bring that dirt in the house. Any dog owner will understand.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Haha if people have problems with your floors, you certainly don't want to see mine from two huskies before vaccuming.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As someone with dogs, you can either have happy pups that get to play or clean floors. You're making the right choice

9 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

Why the bottle cap?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Dogs came out with me the take out the trash. Bottle cap fell out of trash. Came back in, with dogs, they tracked in dirt, then I swept.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Hey buddy, I think you should clean your floors.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 7

Hey buddy, I already did. Dogs track in dirt, deal with it.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 23

Clean your house buddy

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

Wow! Everybody is so friendly!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Is there a reason Luke is so thin?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Looks like a lanky puppy. Sometimes you can't feed them fast enough at that age.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah he's just over a year old, he's got that young dog metabolism. I've asked the vet about it and they said he's healthy, just skinny

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Plus, some breeds just look thin.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My sister's pup was like that. He ate EVERYTHING,but ppl would always comment about how skinny he was. He is a huge doggo now, still skinny.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think he just has a high metabolism, I feed him the proper amount of food three times a day.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Maybe try feeding him more than that or getting him to a vet. Or some better quality food as far as protein content is concerned.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I take him to a vet every few months, I feed him what the vet recommended, he's just a naturally really lanky dog, the vet says he's healthy

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Well if that's what the vet said. He just looks a bit too lean to not be a whippet

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Are you a veterinarian?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's a straight up mutt I got from a shelter, probably a bunch of different breeds, there's no telling what DNA was dominant for his shape
