Not really a mindufck, just really beautifully weird movie about life in a faraway planet, a giant blue girl finds little human boy and keeps it as a pet. For everyone who loves 70's sci-fi atmosphere.

The Holy Mountain (1973)

Holy mountain is a masterpiece by A. Jodorowsky. The movie introduces Salinas to an alchemist (Jodorowsky) who proves his mystical powers by turning the thief’s excrement into gold. From there, they embark on a spiritual journey, accompanied by seven figures from different planets who represent terrible aspects of life on this one.

Eraserhead (1977)

One of my favourite david Lynch's movies. It takes place in unnamed industrial wasteland. The protagonist, Henry just had a weird child with his girlfriend Mary and a bunch of mindfucking things are happening in his life.

Lost Highway (1997)

In the movie David Lynch allow us to enter the mind of a man who killed his wife. However, the situation is much more complicated. As we would expect from Lynch, the movie does not attempt to peer into the mind of an every day, ordinary person. Instead, we are invited to experience reality through the eyes of a formidable and grisly murderer.

Pi (1998)

It's a wonderful movie about a restless, paranoid and brilliant man who believes 1- that mathematics is the language of the universe, 2- nature can be expressed in numbers, and 3- there are patterns everywhere in nature. Then he meets weird Jewish man named Lenny who seeks his help.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)

Its a film based on the book of the same name, a stream-of-altered-consciousness report of the movie protagonists trip to Vegas with his allegedly Samoan attorney. Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro and loads of drugs involved.

Mulholland Drive (2001)

A movie about two women who find themselves walking a fine line between truth and deception in the beautiful but dangerous netherworld of Hollywood. A lot of mystery and questions that even Lynch doesn't have answers to.

The Machinist (2004)

After an industrial accident at his workplace, in which his distracted state results in co-worker losing his arm, Reznik (Christian Bale) begins to distrust the rest of the factory’s workers. As Reznik’s paranoia builds, he finds companionship in two women: pretty waitress Marie at the airport café and Stevie, a prostitute who doubles as Reznik’s bedroom psychoanalyst.

Primer (2004)

My personal favourite time travel movie. It's about two engineers Aaron and Abe who other than their day jobs are working on a tech projects in Aaron's garage. While working on one project they accidentally find a way to time travel.
I recommend watching this movie once, then read everything that is about it and then watching it second time. It's so so worth it.

Survive style 5+ (2004)

What is your function in life? The film follows five simultaneous, loosely linked plot lines, that intertwine and scramble together. I think it's really underrated movie as all the situations are beautifully build and cinematography is one of the best I have ever seen. And it's a bit late, but it's the perfect christmas movie

MInd Game (2004)

Is a psychedelic japanese animation that really keeps you on the screen. The story follows Nishi, a guy who has a crush on his beautiful childhood friend. So many awesome and weird and silly and funny things are happening in the movie that you will truly love everything about it.

A Scanner Darkly (2006)

Substance D is a highly addictive drug that slowly splits the human brain into two seperate idenities. When Fred, an undercover police agent is hooked on the drug, his alter-ego/cover story, Bob Arctor becomes a seemingly seperate character, and Fred is assigned to keep surveillance on himself. Awesome movie with Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson and bunch of other awesome people.

Synecdoche, New York (2008)

Theater director Caden Cotard is mounting a new play as an analogue of his own life, he builds massive set of New York city inside a warehouse, casts others as his friends, family and acquaintances, and casts others to play the ones he's casting. As time goes by it's getting harder to tell the real relationships from the theatrical ones. It's the movie worth watching more than once.

Enter the Void (2009)

Oscar lives in Tokyo with his younger sister Linda and supports himself by dealing drugs, then some things happen and everything gets mindfucky. A movie truly worth watching.
