I fear that I will very soon be in the exact same position.

You're 24. Life hasn't even BEGUN shitting on you yet!

Find inner peace that should last you the next 20 years you'll thank me later.

I didn't know what I wanted to fill my life with until I turned 35. It's a thing.

I really like Peter Singer - The most good you can do. Lots of food for thought in the hunt for meaning.

And that by definition is a millennial. Luckily this is your life, and it's your choice for how you define happiness and success

im with u man, 1st world problems are not always easy to solve

Accept that happiness comes from within. The outside world is not why you are happy or not. Once you accept that, you can choose.

Go find some obstacles to face. Challenge yourself. Find your passions.

First off, you're 24. "Life" hasn't started yet no matter how secure or stable you think you are. Take chances, get out of your bubble,
risk everything, try things you never imagined...you'll be amazed at how much you don't know right now. Not saying to settle but you'd be
amazed at how much a child can rejuvenate your life and give a fresh outlook. But not at 24. You're too young to think your life now is your
life forever. Explore. I achieved a high paying job at 21 and it was the worst mistake ever. I'm now 40, working for myself and realized
what happiness is. It's not the status quo.

Previous generations going back thousands of years struggle to make life comfortable for you and you can't be happy?

You forget that about 950 years of those were trying to end the human species.
What are you talking about?

This my friend is what we call chronic depression, you could win the lottery and still feel like you got nutted, my advise, counselling1
I hope it's just the realization you have almost 0 chance to make an impact on the world like you thought u could growing up. Sucks.
Life sucks, but you can't focus on the long term, you will drive yourself crazy. Enjoy the little things, take pride in the small joys
It helps more than you could ever imagine, I speak from years of experience.
ignoranttostarwarsandvideogames
Yes, this, I ignored these early signs and paid the price with a midlife meltdown. Get help while you're young, older you will thank you.
I am only 25 myself, I have the rest of my life to look forward to (or try to) but I could have been much better off if I didn't ignore it
