It's a Christmas Miracle!

Dec 5, 2024 8:30 PM

You know how that used to just be accepted by all as the reasonable moral to absorb, instead of now where half the country is brainwashed and are like "you don't deeply care for the poor billionaires?!!"

And now the guy who did it is a ghost.

Let's stop talking about whoever it was this time. They're not important as an individual.

A lot of care with given to how to deliver this event to shareholders on that fateful day, just saying a medical emergency happened to him, not so much care to even one of their peers.

Are there any leftover bed curtains?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya know what, I think this is probably the best response to any boot lickers decrying the internet reaction to this. "Remember Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghost of Christmas future?..."

I'm reminded of France and their, ahhh "strategic" use of guillotines haha

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People tend to forget though that they threw out "strategic" in short order.

Against the revolution? Guillotine!
Suspected Monarchist? Guillotine!
Left Handed? MOTHERFUCKIN' GUILLIOTINE!

There will be a sad irony if his life insurance doesn't pay out if they find out it was a murder for hire

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fully understand how terrible it is to be gleeful at the murder of an individual. Murder is wrong. Period. Brian Thompson shouldn’t have been murdered. The killer should be punished. However. The Brian Thompsons of the world need to realize that their actions have consequences. Their pursuit of shareholder profits at the expense of people is what led to this. You cannot fault an individual who was hurt directly because of UHC’s actions. The killer likely lost a love one because of UHC. 1/2

So while I understand that we cannot resort to vigilante justice, we also need to start holding corporations accountable for their actions. Otherwise we will have a revolution and violence. And I don’t want that. Corporations need to contribute to the betterment of society too. Otherwise we will see more violence

There is no justice in the USA. If there was, Trump would be rotting in prison.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That really isn't going to happen. The American people elected fascism. The weak are expected not to survive.

United Healthcare has one of the lowest "pay outs" for its plans in the business. So it's a fantastic business model if the goal is to get people to pay you for health care that you will then deny.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the CEO championed a program that let an AI deny 90% of all claims... so basically a form of fraud that has yet to be legally recognized.

You's could start a community run healthcare system run like a credit union.

Scrooge actually paid Cratchit better than minimum wage workers get today. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/02/08/fact-check-bob-cratchits-salary-higher-than-us-minimum-wage/8987313002/

"However, that wage would put the Cratchits below the federal poverty line of $44,660 for a family of eight. "

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

wait, that was a family of eight?

Bob, Mrs. Cratchit, Martha Cratchit, Peter Cratchit, Belinda Cratchit, Tiny Tim Cratchit, Two unnamed children. Bob needed to get off of his wife once and a while...

Unfortunately for this CEO he didn’t receive any visitation warnings because the 3 Christmas Spirits were out of network.

2 years ago | Likes 572 Dislikes 2

A man so vile he didn't even have one friend who cared about him like Jacob Marley to beg the spirits to save him

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He ended up like Jacob Marley. Maybe he'll warn the others what will happen if they don't change their ways.

Yeah, sorry, visitations come out of your preventive care benefit, which was already maxed out because you got a vaccine at CVS four years ago.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Every single person has had warnings in the form of A Christmas Carol where you watch Scrooge, a stand-in for any heartless businessman, receive plenty of notice about how little people care about him.

They're the same picture

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Actually, the CEOs are kinda like house slaves. They often didn't come from crazy rich families (just rich families) and are only mere millionaires. Their billionaire shareholders give them scraps (millions) so they can keep the rest of the working class down.

A black slaver is lower than a head house midget.
