One of my hobbies is photografie. I like to capture the nightsky with tons of photos and turning them into timelapses.
For my matura closure assignement (i think that's similar to the highschool) I have created a video exhibit and also a short-film.
This was created by stacking multiple photos one at a time.
Here some not GIF photos. If you have suggestens how to get better results, tell me :D i would love to learn.

How do you get that exposure with a lot of light pollution. Also, do one centered on Polaris so we can watch the stars circle it. Cheers.

I avoided big cities and took all of my footage in very dark locarions. Light pollution is indeed a big problem...

Here my set up for all of you that are interested :) gear: canon 6d, samyang 14mm 2.8f. Settings: iso 3200-6400, exposure ~30sec, wide open

I used very high iso 3200-6300 and also a very long exposure of about 15-30secs. Also important is my wide lens samyang 14mm 2.8f

These are awesome, I have so many questions! How long are your exposures in general? Do you use any rig for handling earth rotation?

No rig, just a 6d. Mostly 20-30 sec exosure and very high iso :)
