I care far more about my dog than I do other people. Ever night I come home my dog is happy to see me. Cannot say the same about people.

I remember a post on FB where a family list everything due to fire. They started a GFM and it flopped. They mention their dog died got 13k

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't. I hate dogs. I do love cats more than people though

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why would anyone like people better than dogs. Dogs aren't evil

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The more I know people, the more I love my dog.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

filed under the category of "well, duh. what were you expecting?"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

duh... you think i working this hard for people >:( fk people i want a dog and i want him to have the best life.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This...this isn’t news

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

I feel more empathy for animals when they are suffering than humans because humans can understand what's going on...animals have no idea

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

this is the only logical argument for that side I agree with on this whole page

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

How many paragraphs in did they blame Obama for something?

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 7

How about just any pet? I absolutely love my cat more than 99.9% of humanity.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We all know this. 1M people die in a movie=fine. 1 dog gets hurt=JIMMIESRUSTLED!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Fox News, eh? This sounds like a canine conspiracy.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

well duh

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Isn't that pretty sad when you really think about it?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Surprisingly, not all that much. Because of numerous factors, a dog is more likely to be self sacrificing, they will be extremely 1

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Empathetic and nonjudgmental, and just basically the embodiment of unconditional love. We literally bred them to be exactly what we needed 2

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

In this world. Humans can't compare because we didn't go through the same measures. 3

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

This isn't news....hell leeches and ticks are better people than people.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Um, duh? I love my dogs, they're awesome. Most humans are shit heads.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 7

Most humans. I'm so glad I'm not as shitty a person as you.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

naw, don't you know saying u love animals is supposed to redeem acting shitty to people nowadays

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

God I hate when this website and reddit say dumb shit like this.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I was agreeing with you...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know. I was agreeing with you by saying that lol.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course we care more about dogs. We made dogs to be dependent on us. We make humans just by getting too drunk and then feeling guilty.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

dad? is that you

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would probably take a bullet for my girlfriend. I would definitely take a bullet for literally any dog

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

that is the dumbest thing I've read all day

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

i would guess its because its always possible a person is in some way responsible for his own suffering. not so much with dogs

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

or at least is capable of alleviating his own suffering

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is an obvious fact to those of us with dogs, i’dvmurder a member of my own human family if they hurt my dog.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

Lol glad I don't have such shitty family.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

my mum used to tell me she'd save the dogs over me, it was a shitty thing to hear as a child, fuck you if u ever tell ur family this

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Well, you were probably just a disappointment as a child then bud.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

nah, they were just abusive people and I'm quite stable about that, but wow man, you prolly are a shitty parent if u talk to ppl like this

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh wait no, u love animals so that makes u a good person even when u act like this right?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a parent, cool story bro, thanks for your shitty life story. I’d never claim any moral superiority, don’t care about your feelings.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well, when was the last time you saw a dog go shoot up a stadium for no reason other than to kill random people?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

make a dog with a trigger finger then get back to me

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I have seen dogs attack people at random for no reason other than to attack people. If they knew how to use a gun i am sure they would have.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

That's a pretty awful reason to hate humans.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Liking dogs more automatically means they hate humans?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They never said they liked dogs though, they just said they don't cause mass shootings.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? This depressing story is one you can get behind? One where the average human loves animals more than one from the same species?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

Have you met another person? They're mean

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No, most of them really aren't. I tend to like most people I come across.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Dogs are transparent in their body language and behavior. What you see is what you get. Easier to befriend a dog than a person

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

most peoples body language is quite truthful as well though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Much as I agree with the conclusion, the "study" to me just says people are more sympathetic to victims they perceive as helpless.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Not surprised, in the least.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Dogs care more for human attention then the attention of other dogs as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's accurate.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually, me neither. Because dogs never disagree with you and you basically control them. It's sometimes hard to love other people →

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

because people don't exactly take rejection, disagreements and differing opinions well. We're basically control freaks with varying levels →

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

of narcissism. Dogs worship and love us no matter what, and making them happy is a lot easier than making other people happy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's true for me and probably most of my friends

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, I cannot own a dog. But I do have more empathy when I read articles involving dogs compared to pretty much anything else.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Because a dog won't break your heart. A dog doesn't decide one day that it doesnt love you.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

You okay, buddy?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My dog never lied to me .

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

well yeah, when is the last time you met a dog that was a shitty dog? I meet shitty people all the time...but a shitty dog? super rare.

9 years ago | Likes 209 Dislikes 12

Larger dogs, agreed. But way too many little yappy dogs are just punt-able.

9 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 24

My lil dog only yaps when she thinks theres a threat-like when two large maintenance guys come to fix stuff in my apt. She's being good.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I have a small dog and she’s a sweet heart. I think it’s all about training.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Id say kids are far more punt-able. Nothing wrong with small dogs. All dogs are great

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

They're good dogs, Brent .

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Little yappy dogs are like that because of their humans. Don't blame the doggo

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Is tru

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The tru-tru

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are irritating but even the little yappy ones are not mean spirited, condescending, self absorbed picks who lack empathy for others

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 4

You called?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

shit shit shit...no, sorry wrong number....

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Perfect!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The dog that bit half of my earlobe off was a real treat

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Neighborhood dog attacked and injured a mailman, an old lady with a walker, and several kids before they put it down.Dogs can be assholes too

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

ever met a wild dog? when dogs have to provide for themselves they descend to assholishness just like people, tribulations breed contempt

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Man that asshole neighbor dog wouldn't let me scare the kids! Kept barking if I stopped petting...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I meet way too many shitty dogs (and, yes, they are actually just dogs of shitty owners, but they're still shitty).

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Srs. Dogs killing people? Out of millions of dogs in usa, avge is 20-30 annual. People killing people? Lol....

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

And honestly the only time dogs are shitty is if their owners are shitty people, so in the end it's the shitty people's fault anyways

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The only time there's a shitty dog is if the owner makes them into a shitty dog

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

The only time there's a shitty human is if other humans makes them into shitty humans.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

qed

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

found one. total asshole.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My dog is a real piece of shit. I mean, I still love her way more than most people, but still. Real butthole, that dog.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I kinda wish you didn't use that comma in the last sentence lol

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Every night when I try to sleep and every time I try to more my lawn. I love dogs but my neighbors dogs can go to doggy hell.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

exceptions to every rule...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

meet my neighbor's dog

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

We bred out the shitty dogs for the most part. Some started to try and do the same with humans but everyone got upset and super butthurt.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

too soon man, too soon.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tell that to my 5 year old neighbor who got mauled walking to school. Oh wait you cant cause he's dead. Shit dog.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

walking down a side walk, old lady walking 2 tiny dogs, one of them starts to aggressively bark at me, some dogs are just terrible.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Yeah all those dogs that have gotten out and killed people and other animals are totally not shitty dogs...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 17

They're less shitty than a person who murders someone.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 7

Regardless the dog and the human made a decision to attack and kill. Equally shitty in my book. But you have your opinion and I have mine.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I mean. Dogs don't have nearly as much control as a human

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Understood. I'm just saying that it still made a decision. My whole point that everyone is over looking is that dogs CAN be shitty also.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

My dog eats his and his sisters shit, sometimes straight from the tap. I’ll agree to disagree.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

that's just a weird fetish, it doesn't make him a bad person , does it?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does when we try’s to lick your face afterwards.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I work at a pet hotel, trust me, there are tons of shitty dogs.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Well shitty dogs are a result of shitty people, therefore people are shitty.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Try working at a people hotel youll be agreeing

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

"breaking news, people are more comfortable expressing love to something that is not smart enough to see their faults and cannot ever leave"

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 6

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On a cool day, lock a dog in one car trunk, and your mother in another. Wait 30 minutes, let them out. Which is happy to see you?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right, the dog does not have the intelligence to know your being malicious!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Many dogs know malice, and still instantly forgive.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Idk if that's a good thing tbh

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Study done by same scientists who discovered that objects fall when you stop holding them up in the air.

9 years ago | Likes 676 Dislikes 8

TIL...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean potential & kinetic energy?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Galileo?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So... Isaac Newton.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My helium baloon doesnt, when will the lies stop?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's an actual real experiment.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not in Australia, though, they sail into the sky.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Newton must have been a dog person.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Newton didn't discover that things fall.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

+1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Water is wet, more at 10

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

The norwegian scientists had the question "why do youths drink? " Spent 1 million $ (converted currency). Their answer? "Because its fun"...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I could have both showed them and saved them a hell a lot of money by giving me a case of beer

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know you're joking, but remember scientists had to actually do that to establish how gravity works.

9 years ago | Likes 128 Dislikes 4

Okay, but that's not what I said they discovered, is it?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 17

And if you recall Isaac newton revolutionized our understanding of physics and gravity when he questioned why an apple fell from a tree.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Also still not the point I was making.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 15

Then what is your point?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Science gets you to the moon, common sense gets you a villager tossed into the volcano once a year to keep it happy.

9 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

I don't think you understand "common sense".

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 9

Except common sense is literally the result of science (intentional or not), which is why we don't still throw people into volcanoes.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

Thank you for getting my point. My whole point was common sense has no place in science.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

it could be argued that common sense will lead to hypotheses that can then be tested.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Well Yeah, literally any rational can lead to a hypotheses that may be proven - common sense is no better or worse.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

we should do a study on that

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0
