Free university isnt as good as you may think, scotland has so many graduates its depressed graduate earnings and most are in low pay

We already have that problem here, sadly in the US it comes with a mountain of debt as well.

even for stuff like sciences and engineering? thing is those people dont pay so much tax into the system to cover the cost

Not quite as bad in those sectors but still an issue. Personally I'd rather see focus on vocational skills over college but that's just me

yeh, thats a big issue here too, electricians and plumbers can make serious money

Yup, college isn't for everyone. I'm not a huge Bernie guy but refocusing on education, college and vocational is a good thing in my book
