The Ravens had a grass field and when they switched to turf, had to bring in a patch of grass for Ray Lewis at home games.

It’s safer and easier to manage so ya most are. Turf burn from sliding and the like 10° heat increase just by being on the field sucks tho

Safer because there can never be pits or divots made during play or off season. Reducing trips, falls, and major injuries.
