This is why if you have a rabbit, you should get them spayed (or neutered...). Female rabbits will have false pregnancies and rip out their fur to nest. It's very stressful for them and sad to watch. It really improves rabbits' quality of life and reduces cancer risk to have them fixed.

Pplthink bunnies are easy to take care of and when they find out they're not, those idiot ppl think domestic buns and wild ones are exactly the same and they just let the wild ones go in the wild. In fact, in America's, wild and domestic bunnies are so different, they are unable to mate successfully. It would be like trying to mate a manatee and walrus. I'm a grandbunma of 13 bunnies, all rescued by my daughter from life threatening circumstances. All live happy lives now.
No, I know. It broke my heart as a kid when my mom made me move my bunny to an outside hutch. Winters were terrible on her. It was inhumane. It was a mercy when she died. I was devastated. Also the same day my mom finally found Castlevania 2, Simon's Quest in stores after massive chip shortages of 1988. It cheered me up but I still feel awful ~40 years later. I felt guilty even playing it as much as I was dying to play it. It made me feel like total shit+survivor's guilt. Sorry. Core memory.
