I need more sauce. The first few reactions. I think she'll suffer a mild depression until the fur grows back. I wouldn't do such a thing to a furry animal, though I also think she must be feeling very airy. Reminds me of the days when I used to get my upper body waxed. Boy, it felt so smooth, but soon after had to stop because of open pores that got infection and hence acne all over.

We’re not there yet, but this will be my floof in a couple years. Mine *hates* being brushed and has a very thick undercoat. As a result, he has itchy dandruff skin. He does a great job at preening, but as he gets older I also expect mats to become a problem. For now he only gets them under his armpits, but as he ages he could easily get a lot more, more frequently.

I think it's an optical illusion due to the excess of hair, if it was as skinny as it appear, the spine would be much more prominent, it does appear to be missing muscle mass though
