You brined the chicken and then added salt to the rub? Sounds like a recipe for super salty chicken
SmokingMeatsandothertreats
Not at all. Turned out well balanced between sweet and salty

Butter on rice? What?
IUpvoteScience
I usually put the butter in the water while cooking it, but this...holy shit I'd need so much butter!
SmokingMeatsandothertreats
Butter is life!
SmokingMeatsandothertreats
Try it. Butter and a little salt and pepper :)

Brining is 100% the key
SmokingMeatsandothertreats
I've come to realize this and I'm so happy to eat chicken again
FeedingChocolateToDogs
I actually tried brining chicken breast for the first time recently and I found the flavor to be off-putting. Not sure what was up.
SaltySeaballz
Brining is as much a science as it is a skill. Probably too much salt, that can hurt
SmokingMeatsandothertreats
The mix is hard to get for what you like for flavor. Also time it's in the brine makes a difference. Lots of experimenting to do!
