A year ago today I moved into a house that I bought. It's safe to say that it was a bit of a fixer upper. One year on though and I'm pretty happy with how it's looking

EDIT: the weird door is apparently a modern version of a farmhouse door. The tv is above the fireplace, which is great for sitting and watching...the small human is just young enough to not have to worry about parts hurting from gaming like that. That IS a washing maching in the kitchen, it's just how it be in the UK. Also, thanks people for the nice comments ?

It's very common here in the UK. Houses don't tend to be built with utility rooms. Some of us live in house older than the USA. (1)

From what I understand (as a Canadian) it’s more common in the UK to have a washer/dryer combo machine than 2 separate machines
