Its 3 weeks in. Still miss her like crazy. Every now and again, I look at this picture, and it still hits hard. It was the last time I took her out to sit on the lawn and experience the afternoon sun. I sat with her and talked with her, thanked her for making me laugh when I needed it, licking my face when I didn't expect it. For being the best girl. For carrying me through lockdown. For being the life in the house. For always being happy to see me.
I think she understood.
