This is a before pic of a restaurant door i did.
After, the owner loved it!! The door was untouched for 15yrs
During sanding... 80grit, 150grit 220grit and finish with 400.
Smooth finish.

This is my favorite job.. it was in good shape so i just scuffed it, cleaned it, added stain and sprayed varnish.
Ohhhh.
I love the fact that the engravings got nicely covered.

Sanding blocks/sponge. But we first strip the door chemically.

At the end - start to finish takes 2hrs, i have a helper. If you have a temp door, i say go for it, otherwise, doing the door upright is hrd

Thats a good observation. Although the camera doesnt distinguish well from the brown tones and red ones, most of these are closer to red 1/?

Spectrum. All my clients choose the colors themselves or i match the color which is on the interior side of the door. The red choice is 2/

Due to the fact that the wood itself is pinkish when in raw/bare state. Most of these doors are mahogany which is pretty red-pink color. 3/

We also have requests for dark color like Onyx and Ebony but those are rare and in the pictures dont always look good. I will share one soon
