Two things can be true, and in the duopoly, you cant really blame people for siding with "the only other viable party" when seeking representation. Democrats are blissfully trying to pretend that leaders in their party past and present like Gillibrand and Cuomo weren't just calling Mamdani a terrorist or running AI videos of him destroying NYC. Democrats have a lot of islamaphobia to deal with, a huge Israel problem, and an inability to successfully regulate capitalism that has gotten to the point where people can finance their door dash and bet on anything. Politics is about delivering for constituents and not just being better than nazis.
