"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard"

Adoption day!

This past weekend I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Moxxi. I can't believe that 13 years ago I went into an animal rescue to find a cat and ended up finding the most amazing dog. You would never know she used to be a bait dog and had been returned twice by previous owners. People used to always tell me how amazing it was that I rescued her, when in reality she is the one who rescued me. I am eternally grateful for all the years of love and happiness she brought to my life. Now it's time for her to cross over the rainbow bridge to her new adventure. I love you and will always love you for the rest of my life. You were the goodest of girls!
