It's one of those threats that change meaning and become endearing once you get older. To most teens in the middle of the phase where they naturally seek further independence and thus distance from their parents though, the idea of a family tattoo would seem off-putting, and the threat is only really meant to discourage tattoos during that age anyway.

Obama oversaw 563 airstrikes in his two terms. Trump has done 626 since January of 2025. During Obama's administration, they had a rule where airstrikes needed high-level approval. Trump, in his first term, removed that rule so that military and CIA officials didn't even need White House approval to launch strikes.
