Subliminal Messages

Over the last few years, more and more psychologists have started to study the influence of subliminal messages on human behavior.
Generally speaking, subliminal messages are defined as sensory stimuli that register below an individual’s level of conscious perception and can be noticed only by the subconscious mind.
Subliminal messages can be found everywhere around us: they appear on TV newscasts, in magazines, movies, even in children’s comic books. Here you will see for yourself examples of subliminal messages that have been secretly used in images.

So let's start off with this simple cigarette advertisement.

If you didn't see it the first time around, take a look at where this man's left hand is. Wait... What's that? A penis? That's right! Many of these subliminal messages are pretty sexual to say the least. This is just one example.

See if you can find anything out of place in the next few images.

I'm sure you've noticed by now that the last 3 pictures contain hidden messages as well. Although this time just a little more subtle. If you look closely at how the teens are positioned in these pictures you will quickly notice that some of them are in very sexual positions.

Here's a fun one. Try seeing if you can find the hidden text.

You guessed it. Sex again. This time instead of an image it is shown in the form of text. If you read the top can you can see the words being formed as you go down to the second can.

This one may be hard to see..

Just take a good look. Whose hand is that touching her face? At first glance you might think it belongs to the woman. But upon closer observation you'll start to see that this is no woman's hand. This hand definitely belongs to a man, suggesting there is a man behind her doing who knows what.

Harmless, shirtless man. Right?

Wrong! Take a gander at his right abs. Now look closer... Another penis!

Delicious cup of coffee, right?

Wrong again. This is penis coffee. Zoom in on that smoke and you'll see it.

This is an old ad that was banned from the yellow papers. Can you figure out why?

Not only does the text above the picture "Laid by the best." Suggest sexual content. But if you flip the picture upside down you'll find something interesting.

Now cover the bottom half of the picture with your hand. See it?
