Route Grand-Saint-Bernard, Switzerland to Italy

Rocks and barren landscape made for a surreal ride through this pass on day two. The toll booth operator at a tunnel asked why I wasn't taking the pass. I was confused, so he gave me directions to this beautiful barren world.

Fluela Pass, Switzerland

This was at the end of a Swiss pass that went from 80F at the bottom to 30F at the summit. I couldn't wait to get through the snow and back to the mist. The bike handled great, even on the snowy asphalt. 6/10 would ride without my gauntlets and liners again.

Random crumbling building along the pass route. I thought it would make a good sight while I smoked a cig.

The Umbrial Pass

This world-famous pass was the highlight of the whole trip. I have never felt so small and insignificant compared to mother nature. Nothing like towering mountains to put in to perspective just how small we really are.

Passo di Pennes, Italy

I was just picking random passes to travel to Innsbruck on my second to last day when I started passing mountainside pastures. The sun was starting to set to make for this beautiful view.
