When there's an election in my country, the government sends me a piece of paper that I take to the voting place and exchange it for a ballot. I don't need to register anywhere.

This should count as election interference.
Just another reason why he should be arrested, and why we need to limit the powers of the rich on our elections.

Some states (Virginia at least) the DMV will let you Register/Check Registration Status.

Come on States, that's outright fraud! Charge the illegal immigrant with Election meddling, the States control voting!

The only way for the us to repair itself is to vote them out and then take every one of those assholes to prison and taking every dollar they have. Use that money to pay down your national debt and if there is anything left over share it equally with every US citizen as a sorry we were assholes bonus.

Upvoted for visibility. Please be careful who you give your data to. I wouldn’t be surprised if VoteSafe will somehow UNregister you.

So, question. What would happen if, people used this website to register shitty republican politicians to vote?

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keep it simple… go to vote.gov it is still the safest to use second to simply going directly to your own state’s site... if you do use vote.org do not fill out their forms, just scroll down past them. Filling out their forms signs you up to their mailing list.

Something else to keep an eye on. Favor your local county/state's website to check/manage registration and polling sites.

Oops, more election interference!

#5 Wouldn't this also count as election fraud?

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In what way?

Remember: if they have to tell you they're safe, they're not

Do look up any of the proposed alternate sites before using them too. For all we know, OP is doing a switcharoo.
OP, this isn't against you specifically, just about internet strangers in general.

no offense taken--one has to check everything these days; sometimes twice

This has to be extraordinarily illegal, right?
Yes I'm aware special little billionaires don't get prosecuted.

Congress has been dysfunctional for decades, and I don't think this problem has happened enough before to demand their attention. Even if there was a law you would have the highest paid lawyers in the world toying with the exact wording of the law. Proving their bad intentions can be surprisingly difficult. For better or worse you cannot have a law based purely on outcome since that would affect websites that have good intentions but are not quite idiot proof.

Things Nazis do tend to only be illegal when you start hanging them for it. Until that point, just business as usual. Sadly.

Don't bulldhit yourself into thinking it's just the republicans. It's an american trait across the board.

These things would stop a lot faster if you just jailed people for it

A team of 20 could get him. He does have at least 6 bodyguards around him at all times, plus door security check in people, but it’s doable.

Please!!

Nah, you gotta do more than jail, you need to seize and redistribute assets, make it so they are poor when they get out they will think twice about it.

Beheaded

I'd love to, unfortunately, I don't get to decide that. And since I've been alive, not enough people have cared to make consequences happen to rich criminals to actually vote for it. Now will most likely be no different.

When people keep saying "this problem would be solved if Americans did X" it doesn't mean you, personally, individually. It means there are 300+mio of you. The tiniest bit of coordination would suffice to get it done if enough of you cared. Either too many of you don't (doesn't matter where you stand) or y'all don't get organized, which also means you (plural) collectively don't care enough. There's a reason Mamdani, AOC, Bernie & co. are localized exceptions. They aren't representative for all.

Well past that point. At the take to the streets and haul them out point but Americans are spineless cowards who at best can do a weekend block complaint party. Heaven forbid any American have to make personal financial sacrifices or take risks.

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I think its not about the financial sacrifices bor the risks; is about lacking the the will to fight for a dignified life. They are so in love with the establishment cause theynever suffered on first hand the atrocities USA has commited around the world. USians still belive they are the greatest country in the world even thouhgh they never were.

Luigi Mangione did, and people did not band around him and rise up. Chamel Abdulkarim did, and people did not band around him and rise up. Singular heros do not work. You need organized trained resistance for this kind of thing. And that doesn't happen overnight. Sorry.

But I'm sure if you were here you'd get it all done flawlessly in an hour, yes?

Trump was first elected in 2016 so it's been a fucking decade this shit has been coming down the line. Don't pretend this is some big surprise that happened last month. Fuck we are almost 2 fucking years into his second term. Keep making excuses. It's about all Americans are good at.

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

These aren't excuses, they're the truth. And I'm aware, I've been trying to get people to wake up to the fact that fascism was gaining power at an incredible rate basically my entire adult life. But people in this country continue to sleepwalk. And again: singular heros don't work. The most important thing you need to organize resistance is people, and people have been trained not to trust their neighbors and look out for number 1 here, that makes collective action extremely difficult.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The sad truth is that right now is the most awake I've ever seen my community to the fascist regime around us and it's only because they've gone fully mask off. And 90 percent of them still aren't willing to have their neighbor's back. This country is intensely sick and it's not going to miraculously recover its immune system in a week. Not even if the flawless tactical intellect of BrdCdn were to come down there themselves to whip us all into shape.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If it makes you feel any better though, most of us likely won't live to see the end of the fascist takeover. Too many sleepwalkers.

I probably won't, either the cancer or a bullet are more likely to get me.

So hey at least one horrible lazy evil American will get what he deserves for daring to be born here and unable to leave. I hope that makes you feel better.

Don't care. I feel sympathy for the millions that will and have had it far worse internationally as a result of America and Americans actions.
