My favorite scene from the dub was when Griffith, after his body is tortured, mutilated, and left chained in a dungeon starts singing The Little Mermaid's "Part of your world". Absolutely beautiful.

I think the thing that was most amazing about his drawing was that you could tell he approached every single panel with a determination to not cut a single corner. The level of detail and effort in every panel, even the B footage style transitional ones and whatnot, was just unreal. A genius of, among other things, effort and commitment.

Were the other anime adaptations bad? I never watched any of them and stuck to the manga, only heard the CGI one is absolute trash.

the 1997 adaptation is adequate. te films that cover the same part of the story are CG, so the movement is better at the cost of looking a bit worse. the 2016 and onward animations that cover the next part of the story look horrible, sound horrible, and are hard to follow the action because they're directed so poorly

Any other attempts at another berserk series has been bad in my opinion, cgi ones being the worst and then I think Warner brothers but still not great.
Manga will always be one of the best in my heart. Such a shame about miura.

It will be, there's been confirmation for that.
I actually own the newly released Berserk 42, the first one that is released without Miura on board. It's brought out by his best friend Mori, who he told the rest of the plot to, and his "students" which will draw it.
Berserk is intended to be finished to completion in the next 10 years and will release approximately two mangas per year.
I added a picture of the new release, 43 is supposed to come out this year too.
