Most of these sensors in the past actually measured muscle activity and not EEG signals. Not sure which he’s using or what frequencies.

It used neural networks to create an artificial inteligence that can use the signals caught by the sensors and translate then to the machine
Its actually a very known procedure but it has some flaws as the AI takes a long period to train and will only work with his brain
Actual EEG isn’t just subject dependent but day/week dependent. Train on some signals and the training will get worse over time.
Because of the fact that every brain gives different waves and there's a lot of noises on this signals. But very nice project for that age.

Check the 3 wire connected from ESC to the motor, seem like one of the wired is not connected properly that's why it is jittering like that.
Also, might be nice to try turn the motor with switch/controller make sure the system working fine.

That’s a good point but you don’t have to look for drivers when doing clean reinstall of the system. You pay for that service too.

IT Support here (shoot me) some brilliant developers I've known prefer mac. The interface is not so bad and you can easily develop on iOS.
I know. developer too. Problems come to surface when you want to use hardware and you realize it’s not (fully) supported on macOs or linux.
I used to work on linux desktop for years and I am done with it. For servers there is absolutely nothing better than linux/unix.

Yeah we had a lot of people struggling with arduinos, luckily the department keeps a bunch of old dell xps laptops hanging around.
I don't like the whole mac vs pc thing, its kinda cringy. But it's worth knowing the issues on certain computers just in case.

Less work. I migrated just over a year ago. Linux mint feels just like windows with no annoying updates that break your PC. 1/x

If it's not installed there is even an app store "software manager" so you dont have to use terminal.
