This year I didn't get any email notifications for Secret Santa. I only found my first match because I kept going to the Secret Santa page to check the 'My Match' section. I've searched my entire email client, nothing has come through (if it went to junk mail it may have been deleted - but none went to junk mail last year).
Like last year, I registered to be a back-up gifter, and kept checking the back-up gifter page (as no emails). As nothing came up and there was no note to look where my original match was, I just assumed that I hadn't been matched for the second round.
I clicked on the 'My Match' link today to see if my original match marked my gift as received (no), and there it was - the second match ONE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT CLOSES!
In hindsight I guess I should have just kept clicking around, but I thought my back-up match would be in the back-up gifter section.
Don't worry @BobbyPunjabi, your not-so-secret back-up gifter will not let you down. I'm so sorry for the delay.
I hope this doesn't mean I will be barred from participating next year.

This happened to me too. No notification whatsoever. I finally found where someone said there was another tab. My backup gift is way late.

I guess it's not enough with a self-pat on the back, you also need recognition and praise from imgur for doing such thing.

Not about a pat on the back. I was mortified that I may have not sent my Match a gift, as it will all shut down tomorrow. Way to be a douche
