My go to is: Am I sick/tired/fresh out of fuck? Go to work. Do I feel like death warmed over? Stay home. Bills don't care about your mood.

I'm part of a union and so by rule, my place of work cannot question my sick leave. I just say I'm using SL, and they say 'ok'

Kudos to you for at least *trying* to keep yourself sanitary. When I was sick I'd try to stay in the back all day when possible.

Mine too. I work in medicine, and if anyone comes in noticeably sick they get a "please go home" and then we disinfect everything they touch
