Work at a well known electronics fruit store. Worked there part time for 4 and a half years. Got spoken to like absolute shit by 6 people in a row. Today was not a good day to press my buttons. Didn't react. Left the floor. Spoke to a manager. And left for the day.
9 months later, looking for promotion. Would be perfect for it. Wouldn't let me due to one incident of bad composure.
Multiple women have been promoted. Many of whom have cried on multiple occasions and had to go home due to arsehole customers. But because I'm a bloke, and I react in a different way, it's completely different.
