I've known Stephen most of my life. He was always very fun and funny, but never took anything seriously.
A few years back he moved to the Houston area and started training to be a paramedic. He just started this job (he was something like a junior paramedic in another agency prior to this) Monday and now is on a 96 hour 200 person rescue spree.
Super proud of this guy.

My cousin's husband worked the inital day of the storm and is now back at it. I'm guessing that he's gonna hit just about 96 by the end.

Long story, but its a really bad idea. More people died in the evacuation of rita than from the storm itself. 1/2

And in Houston, roads are designed to carry excess runoff water, so stuck on a highway when the storm hits could be deadly.
