Sword and Pen. Who needs one to be mightier when one has both?
Sometimes things have to match. Also courtesy of Instagram filters for bringing true colour back to the photo. Plus help from a mate to take the pic.
The swirls on the section and cap are insane
With a matching Alpinist
The pattern on the barrel is insanely awesome.
Decorative box, with the Snake and Tortoise on the Xuan Wu
From here on is packaging. Nice enough box, decent condition for something 16 years old
The felt lined bag is a nice touch
Included to give an idea of how well packed it was. There was a lot of bubble wrap making it incredibly secure during shipping. Don't mistake the damage on the box for the seller, this was rather old stock and the pen was released before the seller even opened shop. I would definitely use them again: The Pen Lover Boutique. www.penlover.it

What kind of lower middle class Price is Right shit is this?
MalakElohim
Sorry to disappoint you with incredibly rare limited editions and one of a kind custom made pieces.
Rayz901
Sorry. I think $350 or more is too much for a pen. Then again I don't write often. Have to admit it is a very pretty pen. Enjoy writing OP
MalakElohim
Ok.
AstronomyDropOut
That pen is lovely. But show us the fucking sword some more

AstronomyDropOut
Gorgeous. Thanks :D
CirB
As a wushu practitioner, yeah!
AstronomyDropOut
tell me more!
CirB
It's quite pretty, yeah. But I'm a bit worried about how well it actually writes. I've had a couple similarly gorgeous pens from China (1)
CirB
and have been sorely disappointed by how bad to mediocre they write. (2/2)
MalakElohim
This is a Pelikan, not a cheap pen from China regardless of the theme. All the Pelikans I've owned and used have written very well.
CirB
Ah, now that's a completely different kind of a beast, agreed.
MalakElohim
Indeed. I'll be attending my local Pelikan Hub this year, like last year. I've probably used hundreds of Pelikans and they're very good pens
CirB
Pelikans aren't too common here in Finland, but we did use some of their stuff at school and I have good memories from those.
