Autozone does it free and give you a print out of the codes and what they are. Work smarter not harder

@op did you ever look for an actual code manual for this car? service manuals have them, usually.

@op Its an 87, thats a busted scan tool. I just saw the "H" was not uniform upon reviewing from PC.

Unless you're also working on a tacoma and need this.

A P0047 is a Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control Solenoid Circuit Low. I have never seen an "H7". Could be low vacuum and the manifold

It's not a turbo car. We were thinking that h7 could be a b7

Except for when they don't wanna work that day an tell you it's all ok. Or when they tell you the problem is worse than expected 1/

so they can get more money for doing the same thing. Sometimes they also say they replaced the problem and it stills there.

Yeah, there's also people who fix Thier own shit. Not everyone does it the same way. I'm just trying to help a friend. Nothing wrong there.

Tell your dickhead friend to take it to a mechanic.

Cool, so, you're going to pay for it then? Mechanics cost money.

He's not a dickhead. We like to fix our own stuff. Saves us a bit of money.

Can you not find the code online? I was able to for a simple run of the mill ob2 code reader

You shouldn't ever be downvoted for learning about your own car. As a BMET, I wish more people would bother to do half as much.
