There was a lot of stuff that could have happened in season 2 but didn't. It was good, but not as good as I think it could have been.

It felt more like a setup than anything. Coming off the hype train is hard for any decent series.

Not making the Hawkins lab actually be the good guys would have been a great improvement. There basically wasn't an antagonist.

Yeah. It was way less intense than an actual thing that actually kills people. A sorta kinda bad guy Will really wasn't much of a threat.
