they need less people because they refuel, which is the limiting factor. only tyres allows you to cut down to 2-2.5s with 3/4 people.

the "2 seconds" pit stops you're seeing nowadays are counted from the time the first lugnut gets contacted" not the time the car stops.

They do not refuel during a race at all anymore. They have 105kg of fuel to complete the race with. 119 Liters.

Oh no. I meant getting the pit change too quick. If the driver in formula E changes cars too fast they get penalised.

That's more for safety since the driver has to actually change vehicles. You can go as fast as you want in F1 since they just change tires.
