First home together
Imgur has some bright people, maybe you can offer advice? My fiancé and I bought a home together 3 yrs ago. We have invested a ton of effort to make our backyard full of flowers, creativity, and cheer. Being in Wisconsin, our warm season is limited, so we spend as much time as we can outside.

This spring we have had many birds in our back yard including cardinals, orioles, Robins, finches, falcons, and more! A little wren and his mate are building their home in this bird house we made.
Last night. Dumpster and Porta potty
The house next door just sold to an investor who is gutting the entire house and is planning to re sell it in 4 months.

The houses are 6 feet apart and the backyards flow together.

What do we do? The investor had his plans. Their will be a dumpster and Porta potty there for 4 to 5 months (all summer) . I suggested to him this morning that he move the dumpster to the front of the house because my fiancé is a teacher and gardens here in the summer. He wasn't open to that. He did he was going to build a 6 ft fence soon.
Help
Are we wrong to ask for the dumpster and Porta potty to be in the front? Should we just put up with it? This fall we get married and we're planning on hosting or wedding shower on our back yard. At a loss of words.

In my opinion: yes, you are wrong (or at least unabashed) to ask for this. Can't you work something else out with the investor?

Like: play the sympathy card. Say the two of you are getting married and ask for a decorated fence and split the cost.
