he's probably too smart to ever say something that stupid. if you need the second amendment right now to protect you from the US government you are fucked. Look at how many people died in the Iraq and Afganistan wars. The US military got about 20 combatants per coalition force member killed. And that doesn't count the close to 300k civilians that were killed. The US citizenry using the 2nd Amend to win is a long grueling fight where close to 10% of our population could die as casualties.

I expect it because that's all liberals ever do is cry and vote and tell you not to be violent and not to resist, just let the system take care of itself. Don't get me wrong, his videos are usually great. I like that he gives a real legal angle to events. But he fails to ever mention that these laws are all just words on a page until someone enforces them. The constitution isn't worth the paper it's written on if we're not willing to ensure those rights. And crying about it and voting for a different group of billionaires to continue to protect capital but in a nicer way won't make things better. It never has and it never will. We need revolution.

And I'm also not saying don't vote for liberals because obviously the ratchet stopping is better than tightening to the right, but at the same time, be realistic about where we are right now, and we're way past the point of tears. We're beyond the point of the federal government protecting our rights. We have no rights until we assume them back and then defend them whenever they try to come and take them. But it's like that bob dylan song, the lonesome death of hattie carrol, where he ends every verse with some kind of permutation of "but now ain't the time for your tears"; The rights we have supposedly been given were actually just concessions from the rich that can fade at their every whim, and yes it's a disgrace and a tragedy, but it's past the time of tears and now the time of anger
