Don't do what Donny Dont does

Dec 14, 2017 4:20 AM

Seriously. If your going to drive in the snow, brush off your damn car. This guy's back window was totally covered, along with pretty much all of his side windows. Pull up your socks bud - no wonder you almost changed lanes directly into my car.

FP edit: Holy schnikes I've peaked. If you want to send something, don't send it to me. I wasn't able to sign up for Secret Santa this year- For anyone feeling generous, please send money to the American Red Cross in support of the folks currently dealing with the wild fires in California. If anyone has any other worth while charities/groups down there that can use the support, please feel free to share. To anyone down there hurting because of this, I am so sorry you have to go through this. I hope you, your families and your homes stay safe.

For those wondering, this happened in Canada

In Winnipeg you could get ticketed for having am unsecured load.

Fuck that guy and fuck anyone who leaves an entire snow drift on their car to just fall into traffic.

Fellow Canadian here...totally feeling your pain. Asshats like this need to get ticketed every damn time. Happy wintering :)

Where I live it snows once a year if we're (un)lucky. People drive like this, then the snow pops off and nails the cars behind them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

then this happens

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Probably wearing slippers or flip flops and didn't want to get wet. Don't forget to clear your tail lights as well.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

And your license plate too, if you don't want to get pulled over.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*snaps a picture while driving a two ton death machine in the snow* "hey don't do unsafe things when driving in the snow guys!"

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Looks like it's taken by a passenger, unless you think OP actually stretched their arm out to the opposite side of the car.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Bingo. I'm not a good snow driver so my boyfriend was behind the wheel.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nice and aerodynamic though. Kinda neat how the snow automatically gets sculpted into the optimal shape.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

yeah reminds of the old 65' corvettes http://www.corvetteblogger.com/images/content/2015/081615_41.jpg

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why I keep a broom in my car.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just brush off your whole car/vehicle. It's so annoying when snow is flying off of the hood, top and trunk. Can be dangerous too.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

the ONE time it snowed last week here in TX, I kept getting angry at snow flying at me from other cars. But tbf they don't have ice scrapers

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Open door close door hard... That's all you really need to do for the side windows.... Lazy bastard.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

every single winter...some people should not drive, or be alive for that matter. stupid AF! takes about five minutes to clean...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is them same kind of driver who thinks all-season tires are fine in a climate where we typically get 6 feet of snow per winter. Grrr!!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I always use all season tires on my kia here in western/upstate ny, and they've been fine even in multiple ft of snow.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All-seasons sold in Canada are rated safe till 7 degrees below zero. Winter temps are well below that where I live. Glad you have success.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, I understand the temp ratings, but what exactly does that have to do with driving through/on top of mass amounts of snow...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Generally when the temp drops lower than 7, there's probably lots of winter happening, so winter tires work better. Just sayin'

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't be a lazy fucker!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

As a Canadian...I think we've all been guilty of this one once or twice.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As a Phoenix girl transplanted to Texas... why aren't garages more of a thing if that type of weather happens?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought about it after... having never really had to put thought into it, and thought maybe it freezes the garage shut and didn't even >

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most people in general use their garages for storage, from what I've seen. But if I had a garage, I'd open it to a 3 foot wall of snow anywa

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Based on where we were driving I'm pretty sure he was in a parking lot when the snow started. We have a garage but it only fits one car.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The thing that pisses me off the most about seeing this, is you know it's because those assholes never check behind them.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Being in illinois, see this every winter and say to myself

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

In norway you would likely loose driving licence for this shit

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Maybe scandinavians are just more used to snow?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dunno, this happened in Canada, so he'd better have a better excuse.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aye, Canadians should know better

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I find it interesting how little these people care for their own safety. Never mind their own property or safety of others.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Had a jag pass me with only bits of windscreen/front door windows cleared. Pulled into supermarket carpark, and _then_ started to clean 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

the rest off. My thought was "idiot, do that before you drive here, not afterwards!" 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unbelievable that people are this idiotic.

8 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 1

Unbelievable that people can't drive with a little snow on their car

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

i was about to leave work one day, in came a car with about 3 inches of snow cleared off to see out the front...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

later realized it was someone who was just moving their car from a few spots away, she was going to sleep at work that night

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

and she smokes, so wanted a close spot for her car

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

unbelievable? "i do not think that it means what you think that it means." i mean come on, a talking cheeto got elected, and that dude is

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

trying to pass off the idea that killing net neutrality is somehow a good idea for us. if anything, i'm becoming biased towards believing

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

more or less ANY tale of stupidity is possible, no matter how ridiculous.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

"The only things that are infinite are the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is nowhere near as bad as I see it on an almost daily basis. I've seen it with 8 inches of snow on the car and only a tiny viewing port

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is it really though lol

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Not only visibility, that stuff can come flying off and screw with other drivers. Better be late than having killed someone.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Back window isnt that important. Side windows are. Brush the back off so big chunks dont go into the other cars

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Please remember to do your roof too. I've had heaps of snow blow onto my windshield from the car in front of me.

while this is funny, seriously fuck people that do this.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Mnea, I live in northern minnesota. I'm guilty of it sometimes, gotta drive a couple miles to get the defroster to warm up.

I'm from california, and I had to have someone show me in college how to scrape a windshield.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I was 100% sure that my glass was going to look like the bottom of a pan after you stir vigorously with a fork.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I enjoy this

Fluffy white bullshit

Actually I’d take snow. No ice, but snow.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Don't come to Idaho, we are currently experiencing an alternating pattern of freezing rain and snow. This shit is gonna take forever to melt
