She seems to have poor control. She's wearing long flouncy garb to distract us from seeing that her hands are sliding and her legs are constantly dropping to the floor (poor core strength). Her fabric & apparent speed try to distract us from the fact that she can't do slow controlled movements, can't stay up on the pole. Speedy and flailing doesn't cut it. Of course there will be those who love the video hoping to get a glance at a bit of crotch, but she's pretty awful.

IIRC, the client kept using a pillow to run into the window to show how strong the glass was, while trying to sell the apartment. After so many tries the frame holding the glass wore down.

It will be a stage pole buried in the ground. They are used if you can put up a pressure mounted pole because of your ceiling or you don't have a ceiling.

As a geologic engineer and someone who has made several free standing poles, the simple answer is it's just buried/pounded into the sand. Piles can resist an amazing amount of force, it wouldn't need to be very deep. The more complicated solution is they buried something like an x-pole base in the sand. I suspect the first, that's what I would do. And now I want to do on the beach

I have 2 jobs (geo engineer and fire props) and a couple hobbies (mainly skiing and old jeeps). But I'm old and love trying new things so have done a lot of stuff over the years. Dance poles are fire dance adjacent, lots of overlap with other circus skills too.

Love this too. But you are very limited to hand grip spins. You need the bare skin to tough the pole to have grip.

If you notice she's only gripping with her hands in the video. My wife used to teach pole, and there are pants available made of like pleather, but I believe bare skin is much better. Albeit it hurts. A lot. I can't do it.

While very beautiful, and I would also love to see more, bare skin is necessary for many of pole moves. It is skin friction that holds one up. Fabric is generally slippery against metal.

Yes. Fire (or flamethrower) out the top or dancer with palm or leg torches. Lollipop poles are quite popular lately, and I make fire attachments for them (and lyras, wings are popular). Here is a lollipop with the simple version fire wicks
