Die Young
Eldritch Hippogriff
Abolisher of bloodlines
It that rides as one
Avacyn
Chandra Chibi. I don't remember the source. :(
Nicol Bolas, God Pharoah.
shadowfox
Eeeeeldraaaaaaziiiii!!!
WhiteWeaselMLAS
Love MTG. Though I have to admit the apocalypse hydra looks vaguely phallic... and I feel concerned about it.
ImAFalseGodAndImOk
Always upvote MTG
ChimneyImps
I'm personally a big fan of the masterpiece that is Phelddagrif
C4diLaForge
We share a cake day! Happy cake day, cake day friend!
Sc00ba5teeve
The Eldrazi on Innistrad have an incredible John Carpenter's "the Thing" feel to them. Absolutely loved both Innistrad blocks.
Panserclaw
My god is an awesome god. Bow down before a true pimp!
mollysoupk
We named our puppy Avacyn. She is an angel :)
firefish097
#1 when a girl changes her relationship status to 'single'.
Zordicron
The art is why I collect physical cards instead of playing online. Progenitus, Angel of the Dire Hour, Dragonlord Kolaghan some of my favs
shiftTieTraveler
Would be an awesome game of it was on console and set up something like dark souls. It's a bad anus game as is though.
MadHakon
I haven't played in awhile, but I still buy a pack on occasion because the artwork is pretty amazing.

.....and these a lot creepy when more then 1.5 inches....
JaceArveduin
Yeah, they definitely got the "horror" part right in SoI. I was quite happy to find a full-size version of It That Rides as One, fun card.
c0nman
Anguished Unmaking is probably my favorite art, and the backstory was a big draw into playing MtG
Ravnaus91
Poor Sorrin :(
JGGennedy
What do you mean? He's permanently stoned. I wouldn't mind that.
cjellen1360
Great selection. Partial to the earlier art myself but in any era the artwork is one of the biggest contributors to its success as a game.
moccasinjoe
Let's be honest, Stasis is the best art.
lilmookie
#1 Maybe charging at it mouth first isn't the best idea.
Ludicolision
God I love Die Young. The Aetherborn are one of my favourite things in the lore and made me really like Khaladesh.
TM93
Needs more Tarkir! http://www.artofmtg.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Dromoka-the-Eternal-Magic-Origins-Art.jpg

Dromoka's K, but Atarka's where it's at! http://www.artofmtg.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Dragonlord-Atarka-Dragons-of-Tarkir-MtG-Art.jpg

But what about Silumgar Millionaire? http://pm1.narvii.com/6312/1c503627d7a5505bb3814e3d3a5dcbf0b6d28bfd_hq.jpg
JaceArveduin
He does get style-points for the Tasigur Necklace.
QuadrumanousCuddler
I was always partial to Serra Angel, because boobies.
Bambi577
Does anyone have any MTG tips? I tried to get into it for a long time but I wasn't any good.
JaceArveduin
Which bit's giving you issues?
MallMall
I don't know how to edit post, and Imgur said "Welcome to the front page"...So I suppose I'm here? Lol.
MallMall
If you guys liked this kind of post, I could post more in the future. Just little pricks and pins of my favorite MTG arts.
MoneAbrahms
You could do themes. Lands or color. Or by set to get the lore flavor. Could be some good stuff.
wretchednetch
Yes please. Also, you could consider posting the arts of some of your favorite artists. Mostly thinking Terese Nielsen though...
Flonaise
My favorite new art is for Hanweir, the Writhing Township. An abomination of meat, wood, metal, and human faces.
Flonaise
Also, can't wait for Commander 2017.
Arkvoodle
Brisela was pretty legit/terrifying as well.
Flonaise
Agreed!
doubleormuffin
Yeah, I love the horror art of the Eldrazi and Phyrexians. The creepy amalgamations of flesh, bone, metal, porcelain, and whatever's on hand
nohumansallowed04
Human faces ?
Flonaise
VulpiniErebos
Avacyn restored had some awesome angel cards. That's the stuff that got me started. Good times.
empt
im all about that legion art but the first thing that got me hooked was the old force of will art
Arkvoodle
Pulled a foil Gisela way back when. That was a good day.
Zordicron
Started right at the end of 3rd edition, but most of my initial deck(s) were made of 4th edition. IMO the designers lost their way for1/
Zordicron
a few years, but the Scars of Mirrodin, and especially going into Innistrad really began a turn around, and I find the game very fun again.
FiveToesRight
Ice age here, and I feel also as if I was born back then in ice age
Sc00ba5teeve
I took a break from standard play during the first Innistrad block. Always regretted missing out on that flavor.
MallMall
I got started back when the Phyrexian block was put into play. Praetorians and myrrans are so cool.
Boufus
10th edition. Phyrexian vault artifact. Great for a pariah-ed cho manno
Secretsquid
I started like the week before the first mirrordin block dropped. I still remember being able to get the kaldra avatar in play
drj37
I started when Tempest first came out. Haven't played in quite a while, but still have all my cards.
Zanthy
I started with Invasion. Rarely get the chance to play anymore, but I have high hopes for my future kids
MoneAbrahms
My son started at 11. At 14 he's a pretty serious Legacy player. I learned for good dad son time (and it's fun)
Brocid3n
I started at Battle for Zendikar. I still struggle with some mechanics but I have a eldrazi deck to beat my friends asshole decks.
Zanthy
I hate eldrazi. All eldrazi.
Arsikere
the first innistrad block was one of the best blocks. lorwyn and alara as well.
OphelianAshe
Damn right. That's where I started too, and still have a huge collection of vampire and angel cards
Arsikere
my modern decks have a large presence of lorwyn and innistrad 1 cards
OphelianAshe
I'm not actually that good at the game, though I'd like to be. I just mainly collect vamps and angels.
