That dogs face. I love it.

For those who are confused, The Dog is the Finnish President.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Voi perkele ei kyllä jaksais nyt torille!

That dog doesn't give a fuck

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They do say you look like your dog or is it the other way round...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It looks like he's scolding him for touching the basket and Lennu has no regrets.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's apparently ham in the gift basket (in Finland we eat ham at Christmas like some nations have turkey or goose).

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

As a Canadian I don't think we have a specific type of meat we eat at Christmas. The only constant is turkey at Thanksgiving.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Also moose meat in Finland if availeable

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was raised by a moose :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also jouluhauki

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ei.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...errrr, you're shitting me, right? o.O I mean, I know some (insane) people eat lipeäkala, but is jouluhauki actually a thing? :D

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a thing in archipelago. And some archipelago foundation gives president an jouluhauki every x-mas.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Christmas pike", a fish. Traditional in certain parts (never seen one myself).

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

that smile at the end :D

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That dog is the real leader.

Is he.. is he sweating?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there a reason why he would own an American breed of dog? That's a Boston Terrier.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Is nationalism a bad thing?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, how rare is the breed in Europe is my question.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't you choose the breed based on its needs and how they fit to your capabilities instead of its country of origin?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I love Bostons, but that has to be a rare breed in Europe.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because finnish dogs are vicious hunting dogs.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or mischievous, lovable, fluffy bastards. i.e. Finnish Lapphunds.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My friend on Finland showed me this! The ceremony involves giving the king and queen a pike and a ham. Lennu was so excited.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

President*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh well yes that one. My mistake. Haha.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*Finnish presidents wifes's dog, and the president.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Hot wife.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

they're not married

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

They got married in '09, mate...

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

oh... i checked and seems you're right, my bad. she's always referred as "spouse", not "wife" so i figured it wrong :p

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A person's spouse is that person's husband or wife. Spouse comes from the latin word for betrothed. Spouse is just a gender neutral term.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

nevertheless 'spouse' is used also a lot of non-married couples (as companion/live-in partner)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sauli vanha koijari!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Being the dirty English speaker I am, I wondered why it was a "Small Perkele". :|

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've no clue where you got "small" from.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

If you squint and shake your phone it kinda looks like "small"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Aren't those little fuckers full of breathing problems? I mean, I love them but they barely can run a few km without losing breath, like me

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They have problems in the heat due to the short face and issue in the cold from thin coat...but they're reasonably healthy dogs. Playful AF.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

AFAIK, the narrow nasal passages are more problematic for french bulldogs and pugs rather than boston terriers.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Boston teriers get thr least of it. The do reverse sneeze on occasion, but they're still generally healthy.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the reply, the French bulldog of a friend could't run that much, specially in summer, started to panting like crazy.

That is the best damn smile ever!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why does everyone use doggo and pupper!? What's wrong with puppy or doggy, are they not cute enough?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

It's the circle-jerkiness at work again. Same with "danger noodles" and "murder mittens", etcetcetc.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Yeah fuck that shit. Puppy, pup and/or doggy ftw!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Because internet wants to act retarded on purpose. It hides it better when it's actually retarded.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

'Dog' and 'puppy' are no longer able to describe the cuteness in the respective animals. Unfortunately, 'doggo' and 'pupper' are a must now.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Natural part of language evolution, welcome to the next vowel shift

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boston Terriers are the shiiiiit!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not a Boston.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

Please tell me what that is then.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

French Bulldog

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

GTFO, the ears and expression are 100% Boston, not Frenchie.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's 100% a Boston Terrier.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As a Boston Terrier owner, can you please tell me why this is definitely a Frenchie and not an American Gentleman?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm confused. Which is the president and which is the dog?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's actually the correct title.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They already have the same face though.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think you'd see much of a difference

9 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 832 Dislikes 6

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh god; we fucked up bad... we fucked up real bad

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is beautiful. Thank you. +1

Isn't being the FInnish President kind of like being the mayor of Houston?

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 14

Sort of, though I believe the Finnish President has less administerial power than the mayor of Houston. Kind of like a monarch, but not.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I get it it's because other countries small haha

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sorry, it was a lame joke

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't being president in usa kind of like being the mayor of goungzhou? /Any chinese

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Finland has 2x the population, but yes

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Not if you include the metro area of Houston, and if you have ever been there you know that you have to.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

More like mayor of half of Los Angeles county then?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

With 260 times the surface area!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's what all the polar-bear drawn sleds are for though

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where can I learn Houstonese language and culture?

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

"Culture" in Houston? Oh, I get your point. It was a lame bit of humor.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

All in good fun, sir!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Same here. Also, my wife and I will visit Finland in May. I will be there for work and she is coming with me.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As you wish.

9 years ago | Likes 125 Dislikes 17

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1
