Earth from Space - ISS HD Camera

I'm starting with the best here. Not only does the stream tell you where in orbit the ISS is, but it plays soothing atmospheric melodies that will ignite the imagination. I often watch this at work during lunch to forget that i am shoved in a tiny cubicle typing my life away.

World's Biggest Aquarium - Okinawa, Japan

This one has it all: sharks, fish, and people. The density and mass of this aquarium creates constant action that will fulfill all of your nautical dreams. This one also can serve as some quality people watching.

https://youtu.be/PIcoAgJw6_w

Frying Pan Tower - Southport, North Carolina

For those people who enjoy more of a natural experience. This feed comes with many different angles that periodically rotate and are stationed under a lighthouse built in the 60s. The depth ranges from 35 to 50 feet in this area and supports a very large ecosystem.

https://youtu.be/a-gJoO9A6so

Shibuya - Tokyo, Japan

The image for this one is not doing it justice. During peak hours you can watch hundreds of people try to cross the road at the same time in pure chaos. Will they get hit? Is the Grandma going to make it in time. We will find out after this short break.

https://youtu.be/6q36pnzcw70

Wildlife Camera - Central Minnesota

This one is the most hit or miss out of the group. This camera is posted on a well traveled game trail so you will often see deer, birds, and on occasion a brown bear. However, often you just end up looking at the woods and being grateful you don't live in Minnesota.

https://youtu.be/vwREO4Ahv-E?list=PLYNIhIkb0YjbOm096zZNQtx3i9nkXssSr

Audubon Puffin Loafing Ledge - Rockland, Maine

While puffins, with their colorful bills, are the stars of the loafing ledge, lucky viewers may also catch a glimpse of other creatures on occasion. These birds are plentiful and between their singing and the crashing of the waves this is a perfect one to relax to after a long day.

Kitten Academy - McHenry, Illinois

Cat Tax! This one is of an adoption facility located in Illinois. All cats are up for adoption so if you see one you like, go get him/her!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The ISS link is apparently fake, but this seems to be real: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-iss-stream

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

@REIDICULOUS You'd probably love the show "Space Night Earth Views" Chilled tunes put to excess space footage from the 90s

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Incredible recommendation.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this one is my favorite, both for the music and the footage : https://youtu.be/cOagIem_4bo

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think we would be great friends....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you want.. I quite possibly have some of the albums that were released by electrolux. Like space night volume 1-11 or something like that

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I appreciate it.. but I actually just purchased a couple of the vinyls

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm skeptical about the Space Station 1, it seems to repeat the same thing everyday

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It is fake. It differs from the official NASA stream. It does seem to be looped footage of the iSS faked as stream. Still nice though.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

People watching is my favorite thing to do. No I don't work for the NSA, why do you ask?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I love you for this. Thank you so much. The ISS stream is exactly what I needed right now.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I clicked the wildlife cam and there was a deer RIGHT THERE, checking out the camera. I've never felt so alive!

Except when it snows like it did today...

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Just moved up here this summer from the south. Survived my first time driving in the snow. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That was nothing yesterday. Don't get too cocky!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha welcome to the land of crazy drivers, where first gear is your best friend! :)

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's true! People were zipping across lanes all over the place.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well I mean it is no Iowa, but still pretty bad... Wisconsin for life

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 28

Speaking of sconnie, they whooped some ass today! On Wisconsin!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shit I pity you fools... Montana rules!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

I've lived in both states too. The people are the same except some wear purple and some wear green, so therefore we fight. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

We don't fight over the color. Its who wears it

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lived in both those states. Currently in Iowa. Its not for everyone but i like it.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Same here.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tuned in to ISS just in time to see a spaceman fixing the camera mount!

Quick... Deer on the trail cam. Right now!!!! Eeeeeeee

9 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 0

There is one atm too!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw a squirrel. I still mark this as a success :) Climbed up that tree on the edge of the frame.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most days you can see them standing in our back yard, eating the plants. The wild turkey are never far away, either.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have giant prehistoric wild turkeys roaming my garden too.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Are the wild turkeys as evil as the one we breed? I remember as a child escaping from one which glugged and puffed furiously.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not so much evil, just severely mentally challenged. They get their heads stuck in the lattice under the deck, try to land in the 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

berry trees in the front yard, which they're far too fat to do. It's quite entertaining. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh poor things. They sound like great fun indeed!

/a/aBPOJ

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Nah still there

Still there

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He gone

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

There are like three right now

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Someone just rocked up and blew it away. What an exciting day that would be

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 there now. A buck I wouldn't pass on and a doe that I would.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't say I would pass on the buck either I didn't catch the doe in time

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I watch these for you know... when to show up for groceries.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's someone's hand I front of the ISS camera right now. I've been watching it for a long time, waiting for it to move.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It isn't a live stream. It's just looped footage.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

he has taken it off the mount and looking around with it now

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The plot thickens

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I absolutely love the ISS stream! The only drawback is, you can't see much on the night side of the globe, but the music makes up for it

9 years ago | Likes 190 Dislikes 0

I just saw a dude point the camera at himself

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about all the beheadings and captured British journalists raving about how awesome it is

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a little confused. The graphic in the top right shows it over Asia at night time, but the earth underneath is experiencing day.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or when they cut the feed when certain 'objects' come into frame :)

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 5

Sounds intriguing--could you elaborate?

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

UFO flies in, signal 'goes out'...or they quickly move the camera. You can see videos of this on YouTube.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 5

Yeah seen some of this

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But, wait, someone is constantly monitoring the stream?

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

COINCIDENCE?!

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Not gonna lie its so beautiful it brought a small amount of tears to my eyes

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've got an app on my phone that lets me watch the ISS. It's fun to watch stuff happening above you. Be even better to ask for quiz answers.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Our little pale blue dot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Planet rock?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Much more relaxing than the ISIS stream

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

you're being scammed

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The feed has been on the same loop for months :\

9 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

Not today! The Astronauts were outside and had the camera(s) with them. Totally insane.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I came home at 3 am and they were out working and took the camera with them. It was incredible.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I think same woth the FPT stream because i checked it out and it was at the same moment that image was take :/

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here, I watch look at it about once a week and it kinda looks like the same feed, same equipment

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haaaaaaaa. Astrophysics humor.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 5

No. It is a fake stream... lovely footage stitched together and streamed. Still beautiful though.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Source? It did seem too good to be true.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Then why does everything about it claim to be live? And there's the current date in the corner? Seems misleading if the link isn't live.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The ISS passes into the dark side of the earth for roughly half of each of its 90 minute orbits. ..1
