I got this fish when I obtained the tank used, and never was able to ID it. I'm thinking Neon Rainbow Fish. Thoughts?

Yeah that's Neon Rainbowfish. Used to have some in my tank but my last one passed a few months back,they are great fish for a community tank

Someone ID'd it as a Dwarf Neon Rainbow Fish.

Same thing they are just common names also called Melanotaenia Praecox by it's science name or sometimes commonly just a Praecox
