Needing to sew together the top and skirt but I'm pretty happy with how its looking.
I'm not normally a dress type of girl unless its for cosplay but hey everyones needs a dress made of constellation fabric!

This is why I love sewing so much. You can make what you want how you want and it fits. Rad dress.

Hi Ms. Frizzle!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Twilight Sparkle would love this dress. The constellations are technically accurate.

Is this from that TERRIBLE adaption of Stardust?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

It was a really good movie, albeit different from the book.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I'd have to respectfully disagree. That movie was a rushed, disjointed insult not only to the source material but to all movies in general.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

It's out of this world!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You made this?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP Are you really a princess?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Twilight Sparkle?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

first thing I thought of

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So based on the tags, I'm thinking you are going to make a scarf as well?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

If I had speedy knitting .. Yes alas I do not

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Have you tried crochet? Much faster and easier to fix mistakes IMO. Also arm knitting you can make a scarf in 30 minutes flat.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oooo thank you @miasmacorrigan &@jpb103 seriously if I was employed atm ( visa laws) i would be buying a loom I feel like a 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

forth doctor scarf would be good * nod nod*

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There are also looms that help with speed knitting!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Big fan of looms. Can make a toque in a couple hours on mine.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I first thought the patterns was stargate chevrons and was deeply disappointed when there were no references, I now know why, my bad.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really want to learn how to sew and stuff and make my own clothes or to transform thrift stuff but idk where to start :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

best way to start is to get a bed sheet from a thrift store lay down get someone to draw around you and then draw the pattern you want 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Failing that making your own mannequin is a great place to start, I am not sure where i would be without my mannequin, probably using 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

my husband as my mannequin especially when it came to hemming to get it straight

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't fully like that shade of gold, but I love the shade of black you used for the constellations. I'd have switched the colors, though.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ahh yeahh i see where you are coming from , If i could have printed my own fabric i would have but this is from Joann fabrics

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I use to work for a company called sandro, they had a dress similar to this and sold it for $495.00, make your monies.!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's awesome, problem is most people who commission someone like me want it at really low prices I once got asked to make a wedding 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dress .. they offered me 150 GBP... that amount wouldn't have even covered the cost of the fabric

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well regardless keep up the awesome work and be proud of your creativity. If you have friends that are musicians you should let them model

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your clothes. Get the word out. People always take pictures and post on social media. Good luck!!!

This dress gets my nickelodeon's kids choice award.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
