I’m a long time deadhead. Do we really need more tie dye?

what's the ice do?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Drips over the powder slowly. This create many different gradients and intensities rather than the uniform color saturation of liquid dye

Folded shirt in rig, poured powdered dye on top of that. Then ice on top of that, ice melts, taking dye through shirt as it drips through.

Wait, what is ice dye?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Powder on top of the folded item then ice over it. Ice melts and drips over the powder, dyeing the shirt with many different color gradients

As someone who made lots of tye dye, this is one of my favorite techniques and usually get the coolest results in any way you fold it
