You don't hear someone say they are Irish American or German American. Why do you have to be called African American? This is just another way to be different. You are creating your own problems. There is no white only tv station (like BET), there is no United Cracker College Fund (like United Negro College Fund) nor did whites have their own specific dictionary (like ebonics). The average White American does not have their pants sagging so low with their underwear showing or always have to the the loudest, most obnoxious people out at a restaurant.
America is a melting pot. Why don't you try to melt instead of creating your own problems?
