Gravestone Puppies UPDATE

Wow!!!

Hey guys! Thank you SOOOO much for getting my previous post on the Front Page. Many of you had asked me for an update on the pups and the mother. Well, here it is. This was my previous post: http://imgur.com/gallery/2LurL . If you haven't read it yet, please read that before continuing onto this update. It would make a lot more sense ;-).

I'm sad to announce, none of the puppies or their mother have been adopted. I contacted the rescuer on Facebook and through some translation I was able to learn that they are still there. They have been in their care since April and are ready to find new homes. I'm going to introduce the puppies since I didn't in my other post.

Eli

This little female is named Eli. She was pretty small at first, but nonetheless, adorable!

This is a more recent picture of Eli. I'm not sure on her personality, but it appears she is a sweet little girl.

Freddie

This little cutie pie is named Freddie! He is a male.

Freddie was described as a "serious, gentle and kind" puppy who would be good in a family. He's got such a sweet little face.

Grace

Puppy picture of sweet Grace. She is a female and is quite the stunner in my opinion, looking quite similar to her mom.

Boomer

The last puppy, a male named Boomer.

Boomer sick

Unfortunately, Boomer became sick. He had piroplasmosis more commonly known as Babesia canid. I pulled this from an online article: "B. canis is a one-celled parasite that infects dogs and other wild carnivores like wolves and fox. It can be quite common in certain areas of the southern United States, and is found most often in kennel situations."

Luckily, Boomer was able to overcome his parasite and is now healthy!

Mama

Mama dog also has not been adopted. She was quite the lovely mother to the puppies and it appears she is very sweet towards humans as well. Nothing is known about her past sadly.

Another thank you very much! All the puppies have been properly vaccinated and are ready to go to their new homes. They are currently living in Serbia and their rescuer was kind enough to respond quickly to my message.
