Agreed after looking up safety, its not a Sig, but they are based off the Colts. However it has a different safety than the Colt Mustang

Pistols (9mm esp) aren't supposed to be used on ranges above 10 meters.

They can be effective(if worse by comparison) on longer ranges. Long Lugers can have sights up to 800m. So somewhat longer supposed use

I dont think the "locked" means safe in that context. Locking is what happens when the bolt twists to align the slots in the chamber 1/2

It's because of the model of pistol here. It's a 1911 style pistol and they're designed to be cocked with hammer back most of the time.
