In reality, there's only one way to enjoy the Simpsons: stop watching after the tenth season.

As an Australian, I learned a remarkable amount about US history, music, movies and pop culture just by watching the Simpsons.

Yup, it got weird and too many sing alongs for my taste
Here in argentina the simpsons are primordial culture knowledge. We speak to each other with simpsons references, we compare
national news with scenes of the episodes (normally phtoshoping politicians faces over the characters heads) and it is frowned upon
for people to not know or watch The Simpsons. And we have channels airing the Simpsons sometimes for 3 or four hours (8 on the weekends)
And we tend to distrust people for not liking the show. I know it sounds crazy, but its damn true.
Also reminds you of good times
