Think of 1 and 0 as being the states "on" and "off". A classical bit can be either 1 or 0, but a qubit is part 1 and part 0. 1/?

You can represent how much 1 and how much 0 the qubit is by the latitude on a sphere. More south means more 0, more north means more 1. 2/?
