Best. Ramen. Ever.

Seriously.

This tiny place in the heart of Shibuya was probably my favorite meal of our entire trip.

A block away from Shibuya 109 and right by the crossing. Best advice I heard about Tokyo was to not be afraid to go down the less crowded small streets and explore the food there. That’s where the locals eat. English might not be spoken at all, but as long as you try and are polite, people are always willing to help you out and give you phenomenal service!

+1 for posting the map. fukken saved for my next trip.

Definitely should be posted to Khal.com, it's the best site out there for cooks to be honest

Ramen Jiro was probably the best ramen I've had while I was there (no english options however).

You can eat michelin rated ramen for 15 bucks with a beer in tokyo... That was pretty good as well

Michelin Stars mean nothing though. You could find the best food in the world, cooled by God himself in a back Ally and he wouldn't get one

Because it doesn't fit their image of a fancy restaurant.

I was looking at a couple of the Michelin rated restaurants but we decided to keep trying to find hidden gems and they did not disappoint!
