When my now-fiance met me, and my good boy Wesley, she was terrified of dogs (having been badly attacked by one before). She'd never loved even a little dog, and anything bigger than a Chihuahua was a nope.
But nobody stays scared for long around Wesley. He's such a good boy that people who have literal phobias have sometimes gotten past it enough to pet him - first time in their lives touching a dog, and it's a 40 pound shaggy brown beast.
Woke up to this this morning. He frequently sticks by her side to keep her safe...guess he thought she needed to be extra safe last night.
