Fact: in japan they call canned tuna ‘sea chicken’.

We have a deal: I serve her the tuna water, I get the tuna. Even Steven.

Our kitty loved human food and we would give him little nibbles. At the end he wouldn't eat anything - even nuggets. I wish I gave him more.

This is my cat and eggs. She will even lick the pan after it’s cooled down but heaven for it I actually try to give her a piece

Do you know how to say "this is my food and you can't have any" in cat? The low pitched "mrooooow" thing?

5 years ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it sounds like a couple squirts with the spray bottle.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Ah the "go away/stop immediately or get smacked" noise

5 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Start with low-pitched mrrrrooow ... increase to growl ... open mouth and hiss low in throat ... save human-size paw swats for last or never

I just taught all my cats to understand English...?

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Wow, that sounds like way more work than just using the few cat words you know, but you do you.

My cat loves the "juice" or whatever the tuna or salmon is canned in. Drain it into a dish and he's happily slurping it up!

Brine?

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My cats will only drink the juice from the tuna packed in water and it better be divided up in

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Three little bowls. Otherwise they fight over it.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mine too, won’t eat the meat just drinks the juice.

I'd be paranoid about the levels of salt that can be in there. Mine don't like fish anyway. Chicken/Turkey/Duck/Beef, fine. No fish, idk why

Cat bodies are so efficient that they can drink sea water, so a bit of brine is not much of an issue. The mercury in the meat is different.
